- Short Film, inspired by the colour Pink -


As assistant director for our devised Creative Agency, I contributed to the production of a 60-second short film, produced in just one week. Our film was inspired by our designated colour, pink and it was our job to unpack it’s emotional power, playfully discovering what the colour meant to us.

A visual narrative following Maud through her deterioration of perceived perfection.

Exploring the concept of the mortality of excess, we collectively created the character Maud. She represents the human desire for material objects and what the pressure of trying to achieve perfection can do to you. We juxtapose the common connotations of the colour pink with the sinister narrative and have taken a oversaturated, humorous approach, an aesthetic we as a creative agency believe is current and successful in portraying our chosen narrative.
